The food here is incredible, and the portion sizes are massive for what you pay! The hours of operation are a bit odd, as they close daily from about 1:30-4pm.

I've been going here with my dad for the last 15 years, and I've never been disappointed. The prices are very reasonable for the portions you get. The restaurant is like an old 60s diner. It's a great cozy place, and I miss it now that I live 4 hours away!

A friend of mine suggested this store to me, and I'm eternally grateful that she did. Ground beef often goes on sale for 99 cents a pound. It comes in 10 pound bags, but for that price, I certainly don't mind portioning it out myself! Ground lamb is $2/pound. A huge piece of pancetta sells for $10. NY striploin steaks for $2 a piece. A pack of 11 really good, lean honey garlic sausages for 4 or 5 dollars. I could go on all day. I can stock my deep freezer full to the top for under 100 dollars, and it lasts months. This store also sells veggies for some great deals too. They also sell regular supermarket items, like canned goods, milk, etc. This store is amazing, and has helped with my family's budget in a huge way!

I hate to dump on the small family-owned restaurants, because I know it's hard to compete with the chains, but I just couldnt help but write about this place. I'm half Greek, and my dad is from Greece, and so we decided to try and get some authentic Greek food one day when he was visiting. The server wasn't very friendly, and my dad was trying to be upbeat and make jokes, and the server just kinda looked at him. I ordered the Moussaka, which is a dish of ground beef or lamb, eggplant, and potatoes, with a red sauce. This dish that I got was all one color: brown. It was probably made several days earlier and had been sitting under a heat lamp ever since. It tasted burned, and dry, and tasteless. I can't remember exactly what my dad ordered, but I do remember that he was much less than impressed. My husband ordered the gyros, I think, and his food was not as bad as ours. We wouldn't return here.

I'm half Greek, and my dad was born there. Whenever he comes to visit, he always requests that we go to Joe Feta's. If someone born and raised in Greece loves this place, then you know it's good haha. I've also been to Greece three times, and this food tastes just like what I would get there. The portion sizes are huge for the most part, and the prices are reasonable for what you get.

My cat recently developed some strange bumps under his chin. I was concerned and called around to find who has the best price in my area for a complete checkup. I was told that this hospital did a full exam for something like 70 dollars roughly. This was the best price I had found, so I made an appointment. I went in, and the vet checked under my cat's chin, and explained what the bumps might be, and gave me a prescription. He then said I'm all done, and left. I was told that for the price I was paying that it was a full examination. He didn't check my cat's heartbeat, ears, nose, mouth, or anything. I paid 70 dollars for him to touch my cat's chin and send me on my way. I believe that if they said the price is for a full examination, that I should have recieved one. I'd rather pay a bit more and go the place I used to go: Cat Clinic of Niagara. The service is much better there.

My sister-in-law keeps getting us East Side Marios gift cards for Christmas for the last 3 years. Every one of those three times that we've eaten here, my husband has gotten food poisining. He has gotten different menu items every time, yet always becomes sick to his stomach for days afterward. Also, the restaurant has an open serving window between the dining area and the kitchen, so that the servers reach through to get their food. In this area, they also use tongs to add the dinner rolls or breadsticks to orders. The last time we went, we saw a server drop a pair of these tongs on the floor, pick them up, and put them right back to be used by whatever server went to use them next.

My husband and I went here for dinner tonight. After being seated for over 5 minutes, our server finally came over. By this time, we had decided on our entire meal, so we ordered our entire meal at this time. My husband ordered a Caesar to drink, as well as a Caesar salad for his appetizer. Our server left, and returned a couple minutes later because he was confused because my husband had ordered two Caesars...we had to explain to him again that one was a drink and one was a salad. We then waited almost 15 minutes before we actually recieved our drinks. The salad and other appetizer (spring rolls) came out shortly after the drinks, and they were well made. Then the main course came out. We had both ordered ribs, myself the 1/3 rack, and him the 1/2 rack. Not only did the ribs look a sick beige color, but we had the exact same number of ribs as eachother...the equivalent of 1/3 rack, yet he was charged for 1/2 rack. Our meals were supposed to come with coleslaw, and when our server brought out our food, there wasn't any. I asked if our meals were supposed to come with coleslaw, and his response was "Oh yeah, you're right". He came back with the slaw. He then left quickly, and returned with the dipping sauce he suddenly realized we should also have recieved. We then had to ask for more napkins since we ordered ribs and he had taken away our napkins when he cleared away our appetizers. In my opinion, when someone is about to eat something as messy as ribs, common sense should dictate that napkins should be autimatically brought to the customer.
Overall, the food was just okay. We certainly won't be going back. Much better food can be found elsewhere for a much better price, and with much better service.
